Today, I found out that my baby brother who is 8 has his FIRST crush and honestly I am not quite sure how to take it. lol

I know there is really only so much I can do but STILL. I can still hear his voice whispering through the phone, spelling out the letters of the 8 year old girl he has his eye on at the playground. I'm not gonna lie, my eyes opened pockets of water when he explained to me from a scale from 1-10, how she was 1,000 pretty :') haha, this kid. He made me promise not to tell mom, and he giggled the famous "EZ" giggle, that only made me smile through the tears.

I guess its not the fact that he's crushing on a girl that bothers me. It's really the fact that I'm not there to experience this cute stage of his life. And thats just it, because I chose to come here to school in Utah, I have chosen to miss out on my siblings growing up. I may not get to be there most of the time to help them get through the things that they need to get through. To face their problems with them, hand in hand. But I've learned that the only thing that I can do, what any older sister can do is to teach through example<3 And that is my plan =)
