The Book Of Life

An angel pulled out her book of life,
and began to write his name.
The day he left heavens gates,
to go play Earths life game.

Before he left, he hugged everyone
with tears he tried to hide.
He softly smiled and then he said,
"I'll see you guys on the other side<3"

When he entered Earths brand new life,
his parents cried with love.
They held him tight and closed their eyes,
to thank Heavenly Father above.

They knew their lives were different now,
and they came to understand,
it was their job to raise this little boy
and make them into a man.

Soon this boy began to grow,
with the help of family and friends.
And if so happen mistakes were made,
he quickly made amends.

No longer a boy and now a man,
he made them proud along the way.
and if things went from right to wrong,
he always brightened the day.

With his time here on Earth he never failed,
to touch everyones heart.
His family soon began to question,
"Why would God ever want us to be apart?"

Cause on one Monday morning they got the call,
that God called him home to his feet.
Said, "DeeDee I got better plans for you,
and more angels I want you to meet<3"

DeeDee agreed in a heartbeat,
as a smile fell upon his face.
Saying, "Please let my family know,
that I'll be in a better place.<3

Bless them with comfort, and tell them that
I'll be in every oceans tide.
Let them know, I love them so much
and that I'll wait for them on this side."

Then that angel pulled out her book of life again.
This time not to record his birth.
Instead she wrote on that golden line,
"DeeDee Tafuna, too beautiful for Earth<3"

People have their OWN opinions about DeeDee's "way of leaving." But thats just it...its their OPINION & it really doesn't matter because only Heavenly Father knows<3 I wrote this with the inspiration of others pain and their devoted love for him. Those people know who they are. I don't expect praise or what not, I just hope that it eases at least some broken hearts out there<3 Sometimes all you need is hope, and thats what I wanted to create most in this poem. So if you're reading this, then take it into your heart fully and let it heal :)
